Canadian Gaming Summit / SBC Summit Canada

The event is rebranding as SBC Summit Canada for 2026, scheduled May 19–21 in Toronto.
SBC Summit Americas
SBC's North American edition, typically held in the eastern US. Focuses on sports betting regulation, state-by-state market updates, and the intersection of gaming, media, and tech. Increasingly relevant as more US states legalize.
Other North American Events
- Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention — the largest tribal gaming event, organized by the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA)
- NCLGS (National Council of Legislators from Gaming States) — regulatory-focused, twice yearly
- Global Gaming Awards Americas — held in Las Vegas, bridging land-based and online
North America vs Europe: Event Culture Differences
North American events tend to be more regulation-focused and operator-heavy compared to European events. Side events and after-parties are less prominent. The audience skews toward land-based + digital convergence, whereas European events are heavily online-focused.
